For far away countries, we always use sea transport. According to vehicle dimension, we may use container vessel, bulk vessel (the vehicle is lifted onto vessel by cranes), or RoRo vessel (Roll on roll off vessel — the vehicle is driven on at loading port and driven off at discharge port; it is the best way for a vehicle with engine. Semi-trailer without engine can be loaded with a tractor from the port.) Usually it takes about 6 weeks to West Africa or South America. Shorter time to nearer countries.
Pre-shipping inspection
- A. Full vehicle function check
- B. Full vehicle cleaning
- C. Full vehicle waxing
- D. Protective measures like lashing, mirror removing
Shipping way
- A. General Container (20GP/40HQ)
- This way is the first choice if the size of vehicle is less than 5950×2280×2250mm. For 3–4 units, one 40HQ will save more ocean freight. If the length is a little bit long, we can remove the front tires of the vehicle.
- B. Special Container (OT/FR)
- For over-height or over-length vehicle we can use Open Top container or Frame container. The vehicle will be covered with wax and tarpaulin.
